Further funding has recently been made available to cattle farmers in England. Animal Health and Welfare Infrastructure grant will launch shortly with the Calf Housing for Health and Welfare grant.
Grant for calf housing between £15,000 and £500,000 are available for large infrastructure projects that help to continually improve the health and welfare of your animals.
The aim is that buildings built or upgraded under the scheme will deliver health and welfare benefits for calves up to the age of 6 months. The grant can pay for the capital costs to build new, upgrade, or replace existing calf housing buildings.
