Following on from the very sad announcement received from Buckingham Palace this afternoon, we release the following statement in relation to the passing of Queen Elizabeth II:
‘We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth II, a lady who has illustrated true leadership and been a consistent figure to our Nation for the entirety of her 70 year reign. We extend our condolences to the Royal family at this difficult time as we join them and the rest of the country in profound mourning.’
