IAE have supplied several hundred metres of high security Fortex® mesh to RAF bases in England. A high security mesh system was required to replace old rolls of weld mesh and concrete posts. IAE Fortex® was a perfect match for this application, additional security was achieved by burying the mesh panel 300 mm and adding angle iron extensions to the posts for rolls of barb wire. The client was happy with the system which was supplied to BS 1722 Pt. 14 and the initial order has been followed up with a number of repeat orders.
