IAE Celebrates National Young Farmers’ Week

29th October, 2021 | posted by IAE Media

This week (25th-29th October) marks National Young Farmers’ Week and to celebrate, we are delighted to announce that we will be working with the National Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs (NFYFC) for the forthcoming membership year to sponsor their Auctioneering competition and support the Federation in any other way we can.

NFYFC are one of the largest rural youth organisations in the UK dedicated to young people who have a love for agriculture and rural life. Led by young people, for young people, the Young Farmers’ Clubs provide their thousands of members aged 10 to 28 with a unique opportunity to develop and learn new skills, work with their local communities, travel abroad, take part in a varied competitions programme, enjoy a dynamic social life and embark on new opportunities that might not always be possible otherwise.

We are proud to be supporting such a versatile organisation, with values that align closely to our own in terms of young people. Here at IAE we believe strongly in supporting and investing in young people as these are the future of the business. To aid this, we run a comprehensive Apprenticeship Scheme which not only provides our apprentices with the training to do a job, but also equips them with valuable life skills which they can go onto use both inside and outside of the work place (leadership being a primary example of something we encourage). We take pride in ensuring that all of our apprentices feel valued, and we recognise this through awards evenings and presentations upon completion.

The collaboration between IAE and NFYFC over the next 12 months is an excellent prospect as we both mutually aim to support and celebrate young people. We want young people to feel encouraged to be the best they can be. We hope this will be the beginning of an exciting and long-term partnership.
