David Klucznik

David began his journey with the company in 1971, shortly after finishing school, becoming the sixth employee and currently the longest-serving member of IAE. He has witnessed the company’s remarkable evolution from its humble origins, established by his father, Frank Klucznik Snr, in 1969, to its current status as a leading enterprise in the industry.

Starting his career on the shop floor, David has embraced every position within IAE, driven by a lifelong passion for manufacturing. His contributions have been instrumental in shaping the foundational product range that continues to define the company today.

Following his father’s retirement in 1988 due to health issues, David took the reins and initiated a transformation that propelled IAE to its market-leading position by expanding the product lineup, broadening the customer base, and significantly enhancing production capabilities.

In 1994, David made a strategic decision to diversify the business by establishing a new factory dedicated to producing high-quality fencing products under the IAE brand, which has since become a significant success and a leader in its sector.

The year 2001 marked a pivotal moment with the construction of a state-of-the-art facility on a newly acquired 26-acre brownfield site in Stoke on Trent, which included IAE’s own hot-dip galvanizing plant.

David’s vision, supported by his late wife, a strong management team, and dedicated staff, has been crucial in elevating IAE to its position as the UK’s foremost provider of agricultural, equestrian, and fencing equipment. As chairman, he remains actively involved in the daily operations of the company alongside his son Frank, ensuring that IAE continues to thrive as a truly British family-run business.
