IAE’s Prosafe® Hydraulic Self Closing Gate is manufactured to comply with BS EN 1176 for playground equipment, making it free from finger traps, crush points and shear actions that could cause injury.
The Prosafe® Gates have a built in hydraulic unit, which is fully shielded to prevent vandalism. This mechanism makes the IAE Prosafe® Self Closing Gate virtually impossible to slam shut and prevents it from bouncing back when pushed hard. It has an anti-trap mechanism and cannot swing beyond its stop point. The gate is adjustable and can be set to conform with ROSPA’SA recommendations.
Available 1000mm or 1200mm high, in a Hot Dip Galvanised finish to BS EN ISO 1461 or Galvanised and Polyester Powder Coated. Standard colour is Yellow RAL 1021 but all other colours are available.

COMBINATION GATES
A double leaf Prosafe® combination gate is available from stock, allowing both pedestrian and vehicular access. The pedestrian leaf is 1100mm wide and has a Prosafe® closer whilst the larger leaf is manually operated and can be secured in the open and closed positions with a lockable drop-bolt. The combination gates kept in stock measure 2780mm from centre to centre of posts.
MAINTENANCE GATES
Matching maintenance gates can also be manufactured to order, these do not have a self-closing mechanism but comes with a lockable drop-bolt and slide latch as standard.
