Overview

Sheep System C is designed to handle a flexible number of breeding ewes, from 80 to 100, depending on their size.

Kit comprises of:

  • 3 x 3050mm 6 rail hurdle
  • 5 x 2500mm 6 rail hurdle
  • 2 x 1250mm 6 rail hurdle
  • 1 x 660mm sheeted hurdle
  • 5 x 2500mm 4 rail sheeted hurdle
  • 1 x 1525mm 4 rail sheeted hurdle
  • 1 x 2500mm 6 rail hurdle c/w swing gate
  • 1 x 1525mm slipway hurdle
  • 2 x 2000mm sheeted radius hurdle
  • 2 x drop gate in frame
  • 2 x race joiners
  • 1 x guillotine gate c/w swing gate and pivot
  • 1 x 2525mm swing and slide gate
  • 5 x 2w support post on base plate
  • 1 x 3 way drafting/stop gate
  • 43 x coupling rods

NB. sheep dip not included

  • Approximately 15500mm long by 5800mm wide

  • Swing and slide gates extend the length of the race when in the closed position
  • Easily operated sliding gates encourage animals to move between the individual holding pens (2500mm wide)
  • When working with smaller animals (lambs) the race can be tapered
  • Three-way drafting gate at the end of the race can sort animals into two dispersal pens or allow the animal to continue through the exit race
  • Each dispersal pen is capable of holding between 15 and 20 breeding ewes (size dependent)
