IAE Awarded NULC Employer of the Year 2017

28th May, 2017 | posted by IAE Media

We have been awarded Employer of the Year 2017 by Newcastle Under Lyme College (NULC) for our continuing work with apprentices on our successful apprenticeship scheme. The award was presented at a fantastic awards evening attended by Frank Klucznik (Managing Director), Director David Lovatt (Director) and Steven Smedley (Production Manager).

“NULC were appointed by IAE over two years ago after winning an invitation to tender for introducing and delivering an apprenticeship scheme. They wanted the scheme to five existing staff the opportunity to gain qualifications and to support the recruitment of new apprentices to enable future growth of the business.

The College has worked closely with IAE to build a bespoke apprenticeship scheme that meets the needs of the business but also provide apprentices with the work-ready skills and experience they need to build a successful career. As well as providing excellent development opportunities for their apprentices, IAE also introduced an ‘Apprentice of the Year Awards’ scheme. Representatives from NULC attened the prestigious event alongside key stakeholders to IAE. All of the apprentices were presented with certificates congratulating them on their progress and a selection of precision engineering tools paid for by the company. The overall Apprentice of the Year winner received a trophy and a cheque for £200.

NULC’s relationship with IAE has continued to grow from strength to strength and the College is looking forward to working with IAE for many years to come”.
