Congratulations on Your Retirement Gregg!

Congratulations to Gregg Lowndes! After 27 years with IAE, Gregg is ready to kick back and enjoy some well-earned free time.

Before joining us as a welder at 37, Gregg worked as a heating and ventilation engineer and even played professional football for Port Vale FC, signed to play when he was just 18!

Still into his sports and living locally, Gregg like to cycle to work and after this week is just one of the ways he plans to spend his new free time.

Throughout his career at IAE, he has seen the business evolve, explaining how the quality of steel has greatly improved and how the use of laser work has hugely improved the finished product.

Gregg has worked on many projects throughout the years and as we caught up with him on his final week, he was welding bespoke parts for a roundhouse building. An all-in-one livestock housing solution that will be constructed in the Netherlands!

Thank you for all your hard work! Have a long and happy retirement and most importantly have fun spending time with your granddaughters, taking as many holidays as you can!
