A Message for Our Employees

We trust that yourself and your families all continue to stay safe and well.  The recent government announcement informed us that a large proportion of the U.K will continue to remain in the toughest Covid-19 rules for the next two weeks.  There will be relaxed Christmas rules in place between 23 and 27 December.  Sensible and cautious behaviour is the way forward to control the virus, rather than having endless lockdowns imposed on us all.  The year 2020 has been a challenging year for us all, Covid-19 has been determining our routine, and has had an impact on us all.  We are keeping fingers crossed that 2021 proves to be a much better year, and life can resume to some form of normality at some point.

We continue to deal with the current issues that the Covid-19 pandemic confronts us with.  The NHS test and trace system is working, and it is important employees act on notifications.  IAE is in a high-infection-rate area, and we anticipate more disruption as we enter the new year.  All the IAE Covid-19 policies will continue to be appraised, and IAE will continue to maintain its position in keeping employees safe.  We do continue to thank you for your co-operation in making sure IAE is a covid secure environment.

Demand for the brand name, new product solutions, and the additional site development are all positive elements that will enable economic growth through the IAE infrastructure allowing the business to drive forward.  The diverse range of IAE products continue to be active in all sectors of the company, and the company KPI’s do continue to be achieved.  The board of directors will continue to evaluate the company performance, and make sure results are achieved to allow the business to flourish over the next 5 years and beyond.

This letter will now switch to a quarterly company newsletter format.  The objective of the newsletter is to provide employees with updates pertaining to the business, products, and services.  We look forward to launching this in Spring 2021.

Please follow your local area government tier system rules as a minimum until the next review on the 30 December 2020.  Remember, we must keep protecting each other.  Continue to wash hands, cover face, make space and stay safe.

Continue to contact your department team leader, supervisor, manager if you have any questions or concerns.  Alternatively contact us at [email protected] with your questions or concerns.  Additionally, look out for company updates via the company website and social media platforms (@iae1969).

On behalf of the Directors, we would like to wish you, and your families a Merry Christmas, and a Healthy and Prosperous New Year.

Stay safe, and we will see you all in 2021!

A Message for Our Employees

We trust that yourself and your families all continue to stay safe and well.  The recent announcement by the government explaining the UK may well roll out a covid-19 vaccine as soon as next week is a game changer in the fight against the pandemic.  Exiting lockdown 2.0 and entering back into a tier system continues to be challenging for us all.  Two weekly reviews give us hope, that all local areas will be downgraded to more lenient measures soon.

IAE will continue to maintain its position in keeping employees safe.  It is pleasing to confirm that the virus cases at IAE remain low.  All the IAE covid-19 policies will continue to be appraised while the virus remains active, and we will inform employees of any updates.  If we do have any issues in the workplace, we will deal with these promptly where necessary.  We do continue to thank you for your co-operation in making sure IAE is a covid secure environment.  We reiterate; we must all make sure the company guidelines continue to be observed, we must not allow complacency to set in.

Our customers rely on our expertise and resources to manufacture and distribute equipment to meet their requirements.  We will make sure we continue to meet customer demands.  Keeping all departments open, and staff safe and well allows us to do this effectively.

We do thank you for promptly booking all the remaining 2020 holiday entitlement.  Hopefully, we will all be able to benefit more from our holiday entitlement in 2021. 2020 will go down in history as the great disrupter, we live in hope that 2021 will be the year difficulties were corrected and normality returns.

The diverse range of IAE products continue to be active in all sectors of the company.  It is pleasing to inform all that we have recently secured a large industrial order within the logistics industry, this project may lead to additional work within this sector in the future too.  The company KPI’s do continue to be achieved.  As positive as product demand is at present, we must continue to monitor the company performance.  The board of directors will make alterations to the business if required, to make sure IAE comes through this situation in a strong position, within all sectors of the business.

Contact your department team leader, supervisor, manager if you do have any questions or concerns.  Alternatively contact us at [email protected] with your questions or concerns. Additionally, look out for company updates via the company website and social media platforms (@iae1969).

Please follow your local area government tier system rules, as a minimum until the next review on the 16 December 2020.  Remember we must keep protecting each other.  Continue to wash hands, cover face, make space and stay safe.

A Message for Our Employees

We trust that yourself and your families all continue to stay safe and well.  We are now two weeks into lockdown 2.0, and we are eagerly awaiting news to hopefully confirm measures will be eased at the end of the lockdown period, and England will go back into a potential strengthened tier system after the 2 December 2020.  The recent announcements by the government explaining the UK could have a vaccine available from spring 2021 is another positive step forward towards normality.  The media announcements expressing that government ministers are considering family Christmas get-togethers will be a welcoming update for most.  Discussions are ongoing with the UK devolved governments to agree on the procedures, to try to make sure families the length and breadth of the UK can meet up and enjoy the festive season.

IAE will continue to maintain its position in keeping employees safe.  Issues in the workplace will be dealt with promptly where necessary, additional controls will be applied, if required.  All the IAE covid-19 policies continue to be appraised, and we will inform employees of any updates.  We do continue to thank you for your co-operation in making sure IAE is a covid secure environment.  We reiterate; we must all make sure the company guidelines continue to be observed.

As we enter the final 5 working weeks of 2020, we need to focus on making sure the 2020 holiday entitlement is consumed, any outstanding holidays need to be booked by 30 November 2020 and taken by 22 December 2020.  Any employee holidays not booked by this time will have dates assigned to all individuals, and employees will be informed of when they will need to take their remaining days.

We continue to experience shortages within the supply chain, and with Brexit looming, and a trade deal looking increasingly unlikely, this issue will remain with us in the future months.  Changes will be made to the business if required, to make sure we comply with all the new import and export rules.

The desire for IAE products continues to be strong in all sectors of the company.  The launch of the AG-fit product range has been successful, and the product implementation is on track to meet the sales forecast plan.  The company KPI’s do continue to be achieved.  As positive as product demand is at present, we must continue to monitor the company performance.  The board of directors will make alterations to the business if required.  We all know there will be many challenges ahead.  We will meet these challenges head-on to make sure IAE comes through this extraordinary pandemic in a strong position.

Contact your department team leader, supervisor, manager if you do have any questions or concerns.  Alternatively, contact us at [email protected] with your questions or concerns. Additionally, look out for company updates via the company website and social media platforms (@iae1969).

Please follow the government lockdown rules, as a minimum until 2 December 2020.  Remember we must keep protecting each other.  Continue to wash hands, cover face, make space and stay safe.

A Message for Our Employees

We trust that yourself and your families all continue to stay safe and well.  Unfortunately, but appropriately, lockdown 2.0 was announced in England several days ago – the new restrictions came into force on 5 November 2020.  We can confirm IAE will remain open during this new lockdown.  Procedures are in place to continue to make sure IAE is a covid secure company.  We will see disruption within the workplace over the next several weeks, and months, such issues will be dealt with promptly where necessary.

We would like to reassure all staff that we will continue to operate as normal through these upgraded difficult times.  IAE will enforce additional controls, if required, to maintain our position in keeping employees safe.  We do thank you for your co-operation in making sure IAE is a covid secure environment. We reiterate from previous update letters – we must all make sure the company guidelines continue to be observed.

We have achieved our target in safely returning furloughed employees back to work by 2 November 2020.  Unfortunately, we must announce the further reduction of employees since our last announcement on 12 June 2020.  Employees affected have been made aware.

The original coronavirus furlough scheme came to an end on 31 October 2020.  The announcement of lockdown 2.0 has prompted an extension to the job retention scheme until the 31 March 2021.  It is our intention to only use this scheme for individuals who have been identified as clinically extremely vulnerable (shielding).  We will also use the scheme if we have shortfalls in orders, which may affect departments operating correctly.  As stated in the update letter on the 23 October 2020, it is still our aim to keep all employees working within their contractual hours.

The company KPI’s continue to be achieved.  The board of directors will make alterations to the business when required.  There will be many challenges ahead.  We will meet these challenges head on to make sure IAE comes through this extraordinary pandemic.

Contact your department team leader, supervisor, manager if you do have any questions or concerns.  Alternatively, contact us at [email protected] with your questions or concerns. Additionally, look out for company updates via the company website and social media platforms (@iae1969).

The update letter will continue bi-weekly for the rest of 2020.  As we move into 2021 the update letter will be delivered quarterly.  This letter will keep employees well-informed of any business updates.

Please follow the new government lockdown rules, as a minimum until 2 December 2020.  Remember we must keep protecting each other.  Continue to wash hands, cover face, make space and stay safe.

23/10/2020

A Message for Our Employees

We trust that yourself and your families all continue to stay safe and well.  As stated in the last update letter, the confirmed covid 19 cases continue to rise sharply in the U.K.  A three-tier coronavirus alert system has been implemented recently to control the virus in regional areas. Stoke-on-Trent will move into the coronavirus tier 2 restrictions from Saturday at 12.01am.  IAE has now received information validating that we have had several confirmed cases of covid 19 since our last update letter.  Procedures are in place to inform the relevant departments of the company, while still maintaining GDPR (general data protection regulations).  We will make sure disruption within the workplace is kept to a minimum.  IAE will enforce additional controls, if required, to maintain our position in keeping employees safe.  We do thank you for your co-operation in making sure IAE is a covid secure environment to work in, but as we have said since spring 2020, we must all make sure the company guidelines continue to be observed.

The original coronavirus furlough scheme comes to an end at the end of October 2020.  All furloughed IAE staff will be operational once this scheme ceases.  In recent weeks, the U.K government has launched a lockdown job support scheme and a part-time job support scheme.  We do not expect to use either of these schemes for our staff in the future.  Our aim is to keep all employees working within their contractual hours.

We can now confirm a night shift will be introduced into the MFP and MFG areas of the operation from 2 November 2020.  This additional shift will complement the shift systems that we have in place now, within the production and operational areas of the business.

The company KPI’s continue to be achieved.  The board of directors will make alterations to the business if or when required.  There will be many challenges ahead.  We will meet these challenges head on to make sure IAE comes through this extraordinary pandemic.

We continue to expand the soft start procedure weekly.  We now have 98% of IAE employees operational and active within the workplace.  Employees who are still currently furloughed will be contacted within the coming days by the company.   Additional employees we require to be on site from Monday 26 October 2020 have been contacted.  If you are not required to help at this time, then your patience is appreciated, and we ask that you continue to adhere to all the government guidelines.

In the meantime, we are making sure all of our lines of communication are continuing to be kept open to you all via the company website (https://iae.co.uk/coronavirus/) and social media platforms (@iae1969).      Email us at [email protected].  If you do have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us!

Remember we must keep protecting each other.  Continue to wash hands, cover face, and make space.

A Message for Our Employees

We trust that yourself and your families are all remaining safe and well.  The current UK coronavirus position reinforces that we all need to respect the situation we are in as covid-19 cases continue to rise during the second wave of the pandemic.  UK laboratory confirmed cases of covid-19 have now exceeded more than 540,000 in total during 2020.  The prediction is that these figures will continue to rise quite steeply, and so the whole country will be affected.  It now seems likely that a new framework approach to confront the virus will be announced in the coming days, causing more worry and difficulties for us all.  Our resolve will continue to be tested, but we must all stay focused until we see an end to this awful pandemic.

IAE continues to be a covid secure workplace.  We are confronting challenging self-isolation situations daily.  We will make sure disruption within the workplace is kept to a minimum.  IAE will enforce additional controls, if required, to maintain our position in keeping employees safe.  We do thank you for your co-operation in making sure IAE is a covid secure environment to work in, but as we have said for several months now, we must all make sure the company guidelines continue to be observed.

The requirement for IAE products remains encouraging.  The launch of our AG-fit solution for modular cattle housing has stimulated further enquiries for our products which is pleasing to see.  Additional government backed countryside productivity grants will also galvanise our position in the agricultural marketplace.  The industrial activity of the company is still very challenging.  We remain confident that we will maintain our current market share, and actively gain additional sales in 2021.

The company KPI’s continue to be achieved.  There will be many challenges ahead, new manufacturing opportunities continue to be explored, and we will protect the longevity of the company now and in the future.  The board of directors will make alterations to the business when required.  The company structure will be developed further applying the current stable company platform.

We continue to expand the soft-start procedure weekly.  We now have 89% of IAE employees operational and active within the workplace.  Employees who are still currently furloughed will be contacted throughout October regarding returning to the workplace.  Additional employees we require to be on-site to help support this ongoing procedure next week have been contacted.  If you are not required to help at this time, then your patience as always is appreciated, and we ask that you continue to adhere to all the government guidelines.

In the meantime, we are making sure all of our lines of communication are continuing to be kept open to you all via the company website) and social media platforms (@iae1969).      Email us at [email protected].  This line of communication is there for all employees to ask questions or raise any concerns.  If you do have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us!

Remember we must keep protecting each other.  Continue to wash hands, cover face, and make space.  We look forward to seeing you soon.

A Message for Our Employees

We trust that yourself and your families are all staying safe and well.  Since our last update letter on 11 September 2020, the UK Covid 19 cases have increased significantly.  Cases began edging up again in July 2020 and in recent days we have seen the highest daily confirmed cases since May 2020, prompting the reintroduction of restrictions on social gatherings across the UK, revised operating hours in the UK for some businesses and also additional local lockdowns in regions of the UK.  Resolve and discipline are required by us all in the fight against Covid 19.  The new NHS Covid 19 test and trace service was launched yesterday and we highly recommend employees with a device that supports this app do install the software to help us all control the virus now, and in the future months too.

We are pleased to inform you all that IAE continues to be a covid secure workplace.  A roadmap solution for general questions regarding employees with coronavirus symptoms, or household members with symptoms is in place, allowing us all to confront situations daily.  We must all stay alert, and not allow complacency to set in allowing the virus to take hold in the workplace and in our personal lives too!  We do thank you for your co-operation in making sure IAE is a safe environment to work in, but we must all make sure the company guidelines continue to be observed, we do thank you in advance.

It is pleasing to inform you that the demand for IAE products remains strong in all sectors of the company, both in the UK and Europe.  The company KPI’s continue to be scrutinised and adjusted where required.  Sales forecasts are in place for the approaching two quarters.  Customer expectations are being achieved, and we strive to maintain this.  We do know this will be challenging over the foreseeable months due to the government self-isolation rules affecting staffing levels.  We will do our utmost to continue to meet customer demands.  The board of directors will make alterations to the business as and when required.   There will be many challenges ahead and we will protect the longevity of the company, not just for now but for many years to come.

We continue to expand the soft-start procedure weekly.  We now have 85% of IAE employees operational and active within the workplace.  Additional employees we require to be on-site to help support this ongoing procedure next week have been contacted.  If you are not required to help at this time, then your patience as always is appreciated, and we ask that you continue to adhere to the revised government guidelines.

In the meantime, we are making sure all of our lines of communication are kept open to you all. Email us at [email protected].  This line of communication is there for any employees to ask questions or concerns that you may have.  If you do have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us!

Remember we must keep on protecting each other. Recent weeks of Covid 19 activity echoes this.  Please keep in mind, wash hands, cover face, make space, we look forward to seeing you soon.

A Message for Our Employees

We trust that yourself and your families are all staying safe as the coronavirus pandemic continues to confront us all.  The recent government announcement banning social gatherings above six people from Monday 14 September, and also increased local lockdown constraints in areas of the UK reminds us that Covid-19 is still virulent, and will have its effect on us all in the near future.

As we enter the autumn and winter months, we will endeavour to make the IAE covid checks when entering the site as efficient as possible to combat any weather challenges we face over the coming months.  Additional measures will be administered within the office environment over the forthcoming weeks, including additional covid screens at workstations, extra computer hardware to aid communication within the office, and the possibility of wearing face masks when travelling around the office space.  We must all stay alert, and not allow complacency to set in allowing the virus to take hold in the workplace and in our personal lives too.  As always, we thank you all in advance for your co-operation in making sure IAE continues to be a covid secure workplace, and the company guidelines continue to be observed.

We informed you in the update letter on 7 August 2020 that the board of directors may well fix additional holidays for employees still on furlough in September 2020.  We can now confirm employees still on furlough at the end of September will have 50% of any remaining holidays fixed, and these days will be taken week commencing 28 September 2020.

The supply chain of goods is currently challenging for all due to UK and worldwide shortages.  IAE is keeping well informed of the situation and putting corrections in place if required.  The company KPI’s continue to be monitored.  Sales forecasts are in place, and monitoring customer expectations are both helping the board of directors to make decisions for the next financial period that we are entering.  Demand for the IAE products in the industrial, agricultural, and equestrian sectors are continuing to be positive, both in the U.K and Europe.  The board of directors will continue to make alterations to the business as and when required, any alterations will continue to protect the longevity of the company.

We continue to expand the soft-start procedure weekly.  We now have 81% of IAE employees operational and active within the workplace.  Additional employees we require to be on-site to help support this ongoing procedure next week have been contacted.  If you are not required to help at this time, then your patience as always is appreciated, and we ask that you continue to adhere to the government guidelines.    In the meantime, we are making sure all of our lines of communication are kept open to you all. Email us at [email protected].  This line of communication is there for employees to ask any questions or concerns you may have.  If you do have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us!

Remember we must keep on protecting each other.  Wash hands, cover face, make space, we look forward to seeing you soon.

A Message for Our Employees

We trust that yourself and your families all continue to keep safe and well during the ongoing corona-virus pandemic. Regional areas continue to be monitored and put into local lockdown if the COVID-19 R rate (reproduction number) consistently exceeds 1.0. We are experiencing ongoing announcements from the government regarding new quarantine rules for travellers. The pandemic is still affecting us all now and will continue to affect us all in the near future.

We are pleased to confirm IAE has now reintroduced customer site visits. Customers will need to declare that their premises are COVID secure before any visits can take place by IAE representatives. As always, we thank you all in advance for your co-operation in making sure IAE continues to be COVID secure, and the company guidelines continue to be observed.

Government guidelines regarding car-sharing when commuting to the workplace are in place. At present, IAE does not permit car sharing with other people outside of your own household. Employees who are on furlough, who may have issues regarding getting to work when required to do so, need to inform IAE using the [email protected] email address.

Required shift patterns have now been reintroduced into the necessary areas of the company. This expansion will continue to allow us to connect with the sales forecasts and sales demands, now and in the upcoming months. The IAE night shift remains suspended at present, it is our intention to resume the night shift in the future when the company KPI’s show a requirement for this additional output.

We strive to make sure we deliver on the company promise. The board of directors are continually reviewing the company KPI’s. It is pleasing to inform you all that the demand for IAE products in the industrial, agricultural, and equestrian sectors are buoyant, both in the U.K and Europe. The board of directors will continue to make alterations to the business as and when required, any alterations will continue to protect the longevity of the company. We continue to expand the soft-start procedure weekly.

We now have 76% of IAE employees operational and active within the workplace. We trust that yourself and your families all continue to keep safe and well during these ongoing strange and difficult times.  New outbreaks in regional areas that directly affect local companies are why IAE must continue to be a covid-secure workplace, now and in the future.  As always, we thank you in advance for your co-operation in making sure the IAE company guidelines continue to function correctly on site.  We are optimistic the trial of the new contact-tracing app will be successful and assist in controlling the virus in the future.

The board of directors can now confirm shifts will be reintroduced into our Assembly department from 17 August 2020, and into our Distribution department from 24 August 2020.  These amendments are another positive step in making sure we continue to meet the demand for IAE products in the Industrial, Agricultural, and Equestrian sectors.  Additionally, we aim to satisfy customer requirements for all IAE bespoke solutions.

A Message for Our Employees

We trust that yourself and your families all continue to keep safe during these difficult times.  The recent local lockdowns, wearing of face masks, self-isolation rule changes when returning from holiday destinations and the virus isolation period extension all confirm that the covid-19 pandemic will continue to challenge us all for the foreseeable future.

The company guidelines continue to function correctly on site.  We reiterate that all IAE personnel must continue to work within the site operating procedures currently in place.  As always, we thank you in advance for your co-operation.

Supply chains within the UK have seen demand surges for several months now due to the covid-19 pandemic.  At present it is pleasing to inform all that the IAE purchasing department is reporting that suppliers are achieving our requirements, despite the fact that goods are not as readily available, we must continue to monitor the probable supply shockwaves in the future months, and we will put corrections in place if required.

The board of directors continue to monitor the company KPI’s (key performance indicators). Difficult decisions and necessary adjustments will continue to be made to the business as and when required, this will continue to protect the longevity of the company.

We informed all personnel in a previous update letter on the 14 May 2020 that this may include a change to your normal working hours, a change to your shift pattern, a change to your job role.  We will endeavour to keep changes to a minimum, although changes may be unavoidable

We continue to expand the soft-start procedure weekly.  We now have 68% of IAE employees operational and active within the workplace.  Additional employees we require to be on-site to help support this ongoing procedure next week have been contacted.  If you are not required to help at this time, then your patience as always is appreciated, and we ask that you continue to adhere to the government guidelines.

A Message for Our Employees

We trust that yourself and your families all continue to keep safe during these ever-changing difficult times.  The UK government released updated detailed guidance on the wearing of face coverings yesterday, this guidance requires us all to now wear a face covering in public places from today. We can all help control the virus, by adhering to these new guidelines.  The covid-19 pandemic will continue to challenge us all for the foreseeable future.

It is pleasing to inform all that the company guidelines continue to be adhered to on-site, and extra practical steps will be implemented to the business, as required.  We reiterate that all IAE personnel must continue to work within the site operating procedures currently in place.  As always, we thank you in advance for your co-operation.

The IAE phone lines will be functional from Monday (27th). This line of communication for customers, employees and suppliers will be filtered via a newly programmed auto attendant system whilst staff levels continue to operate with reduced numbers.  This is another significant step in permitting the business to work within the IAE post-covid-19 strategies.  We will also continue to offer a callback service via an email request as an alternative if required.

The board of directors continue to monitor the company KPI’s (key performance indicators).  Customer desire for IAE products continues to increase since we implemented the soft start in April 2020.  Stock monitors are tracking product demand patterns, therefore allowing us to continue to offer a high level of service, with a reduced number of employees.  Difficult decisions and necessary changes will continue to be made to the business as and when required, this will protect the longevity of the company.

We continue to expand the soft-start procedure weekly.  Additional employees we require to be on-site to help support this ongoing procedure next week have been contacted.  If you are not required to help at this time, then your patience as always is appreciated, and we ask that you continue to adhere to the government guidelines.

In the meantime, we are making sure all of our lines of communication are kept open to you all, You can also email us at [email protected] with any questions or concerns you may have. A Message for Our Employees

We trust that yourself and your families all continue to keep safe during these difficult times.  The UK government has informed us all that it will be mandatory to wear a face covering in shops from Friday 24 July 2020.  This recent change confirms that the covid-19 pandemic will continue to challenge us all now, and in the future too.  We can all help control the virus, by staying alert and remembering to self-isolate if we or anyone in our household has covid-19 symptoms.  This alone will focus us all on making sure IAE continues to be a covid secure workplace.

It is pleasing to inform all that the company guidelines continue to be adhered to on site, and extra practical steps will be implemented to the business if required, as we bring additional employees off the UK government furlough scheme and back into the working environment.  We reiterate that all IAE personnel must continue to work within the site operating procedures currently in place.  As always, we thank you in advance for your co-operation.

Site visits for our area sales teams and project teams ceased when the UK lockdown commenced in March 2020.  We continue to develop solutions to deal with this specific challenge now and in the coming weeks and months.  We ask all involved in this sector of the business to be patient and to use the IAE lines of communication if required, thank you in advance.

The board of directors continue to monitor the company KPI’s (key performance indicators).  The board has taken the decision to reduce the workforce by an additional 16 employees – the 16 employees have been notified.  Difficult decisions and necessary changes will continue to be made to the business as and when required, to protect the longevity of the company.

We continue to expand the soft-start procedure weekly.  Additional employees we require to be on-site to help support this ongoing procedure next week have been contacted.  If you are not required to help at this time, then your patience as always is appreciated, and we ask that you continue to adhere to the government guidelines.

In the meantime, we are making sure all of our lines of communication are kept open to you all. You can also email us at [email protected] with any questions or concerns you may have. The communication lines have received minimal traffic in recent weeks, if you do have any questions then please do not hesitate to contact us!

Stay alert, control the virus, save lives, we look forward to seeing you soon.

A Message for Our Employees

We trust that yourself and your families all continue to keep safe, during this ongoing global coronavirus pandemic.  The pandemic has brought unprecedented challenges both for people and society.  Restrictions to daily life have forced us to quickly adopt different ways of working, learning and connecting with each other personally.  You and your families wellbeing need to be monitored in everyday life more than ever during these difficult times.  We must all stay alert as the COVID-19 lockdown rules continue to be relaxed.

IAE continues to be a COVID secure workplace.  Guidelines continue to be adhered to and alterations will be made to all site operating procedures if required, to maintain the high standards that have been put in place since the UK lockdown in March 2020.  We reiterate that all IAE personnel must continue to work within the procedures.  We thank you in advance for your co-operation.

The Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak announced in the summer statement 2020 that the UK government will continue to try to cushion the economic fallout from the pandemic.  Several schemes have been unveiled to hopefully stem the coronavirus job losses. The board of directors continue to monitor the company KPI’s.  This leadership will underpin IAE’s response to these challenging times and stimulate the business to protect the longevity of the company.

We continue to expand the soft-start procedure weekly.  Additional employees we require to be on-site to help support this ongoing procedure next week have been contacted.  If you are not required to help at this time, then your patience as always is appreciated, and we ask that you continue to adhere to the government guidelines.

In the meantime, we are making sure all our lines of communication are kept open to you all. You can also email us at [email protected] with any questions or concerns you may have.

A Message for Our Employees

We trust that yourself and your families all continue to keep safe, as we continue to make sense of this ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.  The reported local lockdown in Leicester confirms we are all still in a precarious and abnormal situation.  We must all stay alert and not allow ourselves to be put in a virus vulnerable situation now, as well as in the future. IAE continues to be Covid secure, we monitor the situation daily to make sure the standards required to keep the business Covid secure are adhered to.  We reiterate that all IAE personnel must continue to work within the procedures that have been put in place.  We thank you in advance for your co-operation.

Multichannel customer communications continue to be expanded on.  It is pleasing that demand for IAE products within the industrial and agricultural sectors has aided the company in reaching the decision to expand on opening communication lines with customers so soon after the UK lockdown.

The board of directors continue to monitor the company KPI’s.  We are expanding on the shift numbers in our production environment, and we can now confirm the IAE galvanising plant will reintroduce a soft start shift pattern from Monday, 6 July 2020 to deal with demand for IAE products.  We must continue to reiterate that changes will have to be made to the business as and when required, to protect the longevity of the company.

We trust that yourself and your families all continue to keep safe and are staying alert. We are truly living in strange times during the Covid-19 pandemic, and we all need to do everything asked of us to make sure the UK does not have a coronavirus spike in the future.

The IAE COVID secure guidelines continue to work.  We will be maintaining the 2-metre social distancing rule that was put in place on-site during the soft start-up in April 2020, and IAE will continue to implement this rule beyond 4 July 2020 for the foreseeable future.

The board of directors continue to monitor the company KPI’s.  We are pleased to inform all that these KPI’s have now given us the confidence to reintroduce a soft start minimal shift pattern in our production environment from Monday, 29 June 2020, and this will be expanded into other departments of IAE in the coming weeks.  We must reiterate that changes will be made to the business as and when required, to protect the longevity of the company.

We continue to expand with the soft start procedure.  Additional employees we require to be on-site to help support this ongoing procedure have been contacted.  If you are not required to help at this time, then your patience as always is appreciated, and we ask that you continue to adhere to the government guidelines.

In the meantime, we are making sure all our lines of communication are kept open to you all. You can also email us at [email protected] with any questions or concerns you may have.

Stay alert, control the virus, save lives, we look forward to seeing you soon.

A Message for Our Employees

We trust that yourself and your families continue to keep safe and are staying alert during these ongoing difficult and strange times.

IAE is committed to providing a safe environment to employees and external personnel when entering the site. The IAE COVID secure guidelines continue to be adhered to, and we thank everybody involved in upholding the high standards that have been set. Sacrifices have been made by all over the last 13 weeks, and we must all stay focused and not let complacency set in to allow the virus to spike in the coming weeks and months. We are observing the potential social distancing measurement rule change, and we will amend our SOP’s if we feel it is correct to do so, if or when required.

The board of directors continue to monitor the company KPI’s (key performance indicators). The KPI’s help to confirm how many staff we require to return to work weekly. The KPI’s will also determine when additional shift patterns will need to be introduced on-site, shift patterns will be reintroduced in a soft start-controlled manner.  Necessary changes including job role amendments and changes to working hours will be made to the business as and when required, to protect the longevity of the company.

We continue to expand with the soft start procedure.  Additional employees we require to be on-site to help support this ongoing procedure have been contacted.  If you are not required to help at this time, then your patience as always is appreciated, and we ask that you continue to stay at home.   In the meantime, we are making sure all our lines of communication are kept open to you all. You can also email us at [email protected] with any questions or concerns you may have.

Stay alert, control the virus, save lives, and please continue to adhere to the government guidelines, we look forward to seeing you soon.

A Message for Our Employees

We trust that yourself and your families are all continuing to keep safe and are staying alert during these ongoing difficult times.

Implementation and the reviewing of existing policies continue to make sure the working environment at IAE is COVID secure.  Social distancing workstation screen installation has commenced in office areas.  The screens will prevent the infection spread of Covid-19 and will allow IAE to continue to get employees back to work safely, and without compromising the office interaction.

The board of directors continue to monitor the company KPI’s (key performance indicators), and because of this, the board has taken the decision to reduce the workforce by 18 employees. Evaluation of the company requirements is ongoing. Additional communication with customers since the government lockdown began and the forecasting of product requirements will allow the business to move forward during these challenging times. Difficult decisions and necessary changes will continue to be made to the business as and when required, to protect the longevity of the company.

We continue to expand on this soft start, any additional employees we require to be on-site to help support this ongoing procedure have been contacted.

We trust that yourself and your families are all continuing to keep safe and are staying alert during these difficult times.

We continue to make sure the working environment at IAE is COVID secure.  The introduction of infrared thermometer temperature testing when entering the IAE site enhances staff safety as employee numbers increase, and in line with our SOP’s (site operating procedures).

As you are aware, saving scheme payments for employees were frozen at the start of the lockdown in March 2020. Employees on furlough can request for their funds to be released from the scheme (the full amount) while on furlough. Email [email protected] to process any payments. Employees can restart their saving scheme, as they return to work through the saving scheme startup option.

Demand for IAE products continues to be reviewed.  We are monitoring the company KPI’s (key performance indicators), necessary changes will be made to the business as and when required, to continue to protect the longevity of the company.

We continue to expand on this soft start, any additional employees we require to be on-site to help support this ongoing procedure have been contacted.  If you are not required to help at this time, then your patience as always is appreciated, and we ask that you continue to stay at home. In the meantime, we are making sure all our lines of communication are kept open to you all. You can also email us at [email protected] with any questions or concerns you may have.

A Message for Our Employees

We trust that yourself and your families are all continuing to keep safe and are staying alert during these difficult and strange times.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced in the daily update meeting on Monday, 25 May 2020 how lockdown measures will continue to be eased as we progress with controlling the virus.  Local lockdown measures and the test and trace scheme are two ways to help gain control of the virus.

Phase 2 of the easing of the measures will allow some businesses to open from Monday 1 June 2020, provided they can do so safely.  Phase 3 is scheduled to be implemented from Monday, 15 June 2020 and is based around non-essential retail businesses, contingent on progress in the fight against coronavirus, these businesses will need to be “COVID secure”.

This statement strengthens the soft-start procedure put in place by IAE on Monday, 20 April 2020.  IAE continues to make sure the working environment is COVID secure.  Social distancing measures, one-way systems, changes to working hours, and increased cleaning regimes are some of the measures in our SOP’s (site operating procedures), this ensures we are keeping IAE safe.

Demand for IAE products continues to be reviewed, this is difficult to measure at present due to customers operating with reduced business operations.  We are monitoring the company KPI’s (key performance indicators) and we will make necessary changes to the business if required, to continue to protect the longevity of the company.

We continue to expand on this soft start, and additional employees we require to be on-site to help support this ongoing procedure have been contacted.  If you are not required to help at this time, then your patience as always is appreciated, and we ask that you continue to stay at home. In the meantime, we are making sure all our lines of communication are kept open to you all, website (https://iae.co.uk/coronavirus/) and social media platforms (@iae1969).

As we have stated in previous updates our soft start procedure sanctioned by the board of directors on Monday, 20 April 2020 is working, and we will only continue to build on this and monitor the SOP’s (site operating procedures) that we have put in place to make sure IAE is COVID secure.

The Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak warned earlier this week of a “severe recession the likes of which we haven’t seen before”.  This statement reiterates what we have said previously, we will continue to review the demand for IAE products, and we will make necessary changes to the business if required to protect the longevity of the company.

Covid-19 has disrupted everybody’s holiday plans this year.  We are looking into ways of managing holiday accrual in 2020, this may include rolling holidays over into an additional calendar year or fixing holidays in the present calendar year.  We will update all employees of any changes we make in the forthcoming weeks.

We continue to expand on this soft start, and additional employees we require to be on site to help support this ongoing procedure have been contacted.

We trust that yourself and your families are all continuing to keep safe and are staying alert during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced changes to the UK lockdown on Sunday, 10 May 2020 and the government also released a 50-page roadmap document plan to lift the UK out of lockdown on Monday, 11 May 2020.  This document includes details regarding how to make sure workplaces are COVID secure and are adhering to the 2 metres social distancing rules. As we have stated in previous updates our soft start procedure sanctioned by the board of directors on Monday, 20 April 2020 is working, and we will only continue to build on this and monitor the SOP’s (site operating procedures) that we have put in place.

The Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak announced on Tuesday, 12 May 2020 the furlough scheme will be extended until the end of October 2020.  We will continue to use this scheme where applicable to secure the future of IAE and to try to preserve employment for IAE employees.

We mentioned in last week’s employee update that we will continue to review the demand for IAE products throughout the coming months and make any necessary changes to the business that may be required.  Employees may need to accept that necessary changes could also be required to allow the business to continue to function with maximum COVID secure procedures in place.

We continue to expand on this soft start, and additional employees we require to be on-site to help support this ongoing procedure have been contacted.  If you are not required to help at this time, then your patience as always is appreciated during this difficult time, and we ask that you continue to stay at home. In the meantime, we are making sure all of our lines of communication are kept open to you all. You can also email us at [email protected] with any questions or concerns you may have.

Stay alert, save lives, and please continue to adhere to the government guidelines, we look forward to seeing you soon.

10/05/2020

A Message for Our Employees

Further to the Prime Minister’s speech this evening, this does not change anything for IAE at this stage and we will continue with our soft start procedure.

Although Boris Johnson stated that anyone who can’t work from home, for instance those in construction or manufacturing, should be actively encouraged to go to work, this has to be linked hand in hand with social distancing and the correct controls implemented to ensure a safe workplace. This is why we will be working just as hard over the coming weeks to get further measures in place.

We continue to expand on this soft start, and additional employees we require to be on-site to help support this ongoing procedure have already been contacted. If you are not required to help at this time, then your patience as always is appreciated during this difficult time, and we ask that you continue to stay at home.

You can continue to email us at [email protected] with any questions or concerns you may have.

A Message for Our Employees

We are now into week seven of the Covid-19 lockdown and we trust that yourself and your families are all continuing to keep safe during the pandemic.

These uncertain times continue to be challenging for us all, it is pleasing to see that the measures the government put in place seven weeks ago are working, and these measures will help get UK lives back to some normality soon.

The soft-start procedure sanctioned by the board of directors on Monday, 20th April 2020 is allowing us to work towards getting employees back to work at IAE in a safe and controlled manner. We await the forthcoming government announcement regarding relaxing of the current lockdown restrictions in the workplace, any relaxation measures are likely to be slow and gradual and we will continue to work within any control measures that are put in place.

The board of directors has taken the decision to extend the initial furlough period that we confirmed on the 24th March 2020 from approximately 8 weeks to 14 weeks. This is in line with the government furlough scheme extension that was announced on the 17th April 2020.

As mentioned in last week’s employee update letter, we will continue to review the demand for the IAE products throughout the coming months and make any necessary changes to the business that may be required.

Stay at home and stay safe, we look forward to seeing you soon.

A Message for Our Employees

We are now into week six of the COVID-19 lockdown and we trust that yourself and your families are all continuing to keep safe during the pandemic.

These uncertain times continue to be challenging for us all. We at IAE take the government guidelines very seriously and we have taken the necessary steps with our SOP’s (Site Operating Procedures) to make sure the wellbeing and safety of our employees, customers and suppliers entering our site continues to be deployed daily. We have a large site footprint, but we do not underestimate social distancing and review all areas daily to make sure IAE is safe for all.

The Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak explained in a recent press briefing that the UK economy is going to take a significant hit and the best way out of this is to grow the economy. IAE will do its utmost to make sure we do everything possible to achieve this goal. The soft-start procedure sanctioned by the board of directors on Monday, 20th April 2020 will allow us to work towards this. Despite this, all our market sectors are facing different and difficult challenges. We will continue to review the demand for the IAE products throughout the coming months, which will enable us to make any necessary changes to the business that may be required.

As mentioned in previous updates we will only continue to expand on this soft start, and additional employees we require to be on-site to help support this ongoing procedure have been contacted. If you are not required to help with this time, then your patience as always is appreciated during this difficult time, and we ask that you continue to stay at home.

In the meantime, we are making sure all of our lines of communication are kept open to you all. You can also email us at [email protected] with any questions or concerns you may have.

Stay at home and stay safe, we look forward to seeing you soon.

A Message for Our Employees

We trust that yourself and your families are all continuing to keep safe and well during the present COVID-19 pandemic.

These are ongoing uncertain times for us all in this current situation. We at IAE are taking responsible measures to protect all employees. Social distancing is challenging and an area we expect to be different for us all to adjust and adhere to in our everyday lives for months to come. We will continue to work closely with our employees, customers, and suppliers to ensure the well-being and safety of all and make sure our SOP (Site Operating Procedure) is transparent.

As you are aware the board of directors sanctioned a soft start procedure from Monday, 20 April 2020. We are pleased to inform you all that this is going to plan. We will continue to expand this soft start and additional employees we require to be on-site to help support this ongoing procedure have been contacted. If you are not required to help with the ongoing soft-start procedure at this time, then your patience is appreciated during this difficult time, and we ask that you continue to stop at home.

In the meantime, we are making sure all of our lines of communication are kept open to you all. You can also email us at [email protected] with any questions or concerns you may have.

A Message for Our Employees

We trust that you are all keeping safe & well.

During these ongoing uncertain times with the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, we are continuing to take responsible measures to protect us all.

From Monday 20th April 2020 we intend to slowly open certain areas of the business. Social distancing is challenging and one of many areas of concern for us all at IAE. Areas of the business will only be opened once we are confident with the safety procedures implemented to ensure the safety and well-being of all our employees, suppliers and customers.

Employees who are required to help support this procedure will be informed of this in the coming days by either your direct manager or HR. If you are not required to help with the soft-start procedure, then your patience is appreciated during this difficult time and you must stay at home.

In the meantime, we are making sure our lines of communication are kept open to you all. You can email us at [email protected] with any questions you may have.
