Job specification

We are looking to recruit an experienced purchase ledger to join our busy accounts office to cover maternity leave and help ensure we deliver outstanding service levels. The role will require you to cover a wide range of responsibilities, including:-

·Management of supplier accounts

·Accurate matching of purchases orders to supplier invoices

·Posting invoices to appropriate codes

·Effective resolution of supplier queries

·Ensuring payments are made in line with payment terms

·Reporting of aged profiles

·Statement reconciliations

·Correctly accounting for VAT

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and offer a methodical approach to this challenging role. Experience in a similar role would be beneficial.
