Reporting to our Maintenance Manager, working as a part of a pro-active team on a rotating shift pattern. You will be responsible for resolving equipment failures, site services and carrying out planned and unplanned engineering tasks in a responsive and effective manner.
The successful candidate’s main objective will be:
- To maintain, repair and fault find on plant and machinery using various maintenance disciplines
- Equipment breakdown response.
- To liaise with management to achieve optimum production
- Work in a safe, compliant manner with the completion of associated documentation
This is a role in which attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines in a production environment is of paramount importance. The person we are looking for will be a time-served Electrician with City & Guilds Qualification, hold 17th Edition and have experience in inspection and testing. Hydraulic and Pneumatic experience would also be an advantage but not essential.
Knowledge of IT based systems, with the ability to use other office packages to produce the correspondence as required, and be familiar with the use of e-mail. Flexibility and a commitment to the team are also essential.
