Job specification

We are looking to appoint machine operatives due to the investment of new machinery and continued growth.

You will work as part of our busy production team and be responsible for operating machinery such as robot weld cells, tubes lasers and a wide range of general machinery to ensure the production of quality products.

Duties will include:

  • Operate various different machines
  • Ensure that work is to IAE’s specifications
  • Achieve daily set production targets
  • Operation of overhead crane equipment
  • Handling of steel products
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment

Experience working as a machine operator would be a distinct advantage but not essential as full training can be offered to the correct candidate showing the right aptitude and commitment.

The above position will be rewarded with a permanent contract, progressive rates of pay, 28 days paid holidays per year plus loyalty days (up to 32 days) and automatic enrolment into the company pension scheme.

Working 39 hours, Monday to Friday on a weekly rotational shift pattern of days and noon’s  with the benefits of a shift allowance and company attendance allowance.
