Job Specification

Reporting to our Maintenance Manager, working as part of a pro-active team on a 3 rotating pattern. You will be responsible for resolving equipment failures, site services and carrying out planned and unplanned engineering tasks in a responsive and effective manner.

The successful candidate’s main objective will be:

  • To maintain, repair and fault find on plant and machinery using various maintenance
  • disciplines
  • Equipment breakdown response
  • To liaise with management to achieve optimum production
  • Work in a safe, compliant manner with completion of associated documentation

The person we are looking for will be a time-served Electrician with City & Guilds Qualification, 18th Edition preferred but not essential. Hydraulic and Pneumatic experience would also be an advantage but not essential.

Knowledge of IT-based systems, with the ability to use other office packages to produce the correspondence as required, and be familiar with the use of e-mail.  Flexibility and a commitment to the team are also essential.

Working 39 hours, Monday to Friday on a three-shift rotation of days, noons, and nights with the benefits of a shift allowance and company attendance allowance.

The above positions will be rewarded with a permanent contract, progressive rates of pay, 32 days paid holidays per year plus loyalty days (up to 34 days), auto-enrolment into our pension scheme which includes 5% employer contributions and employee life insurance.
