Guest Wireless Terms and Conditions

The IAE public wireless guest internet service and connection (the “Wireless Guest Internet Services”) is provided for the use of official guests and visitors of IAE. Any other use is unauthorised and so employees of IAE are not permitted to use the Wireless Guest Internet Services.

By using the Wireless Guest Internet Services you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree then you must not use the Wireless Guest Internet Services.

IAE reserves the right to monitor Internet usage over the Wireless Guest Internet Service and may, at its complete discretion, remove or withdraw access to you without notice or explanation or liability to you. IAE may also control at its complete discretion the types of material that can be sent or received using the Wireless Guest Internet Services.

IAE is not responsible for and has no control over the content of the Internet and is not responsible for sensitive information (including, without limitation, the security of such information) communicated by or to you through the Wireless Guest Internet Services, such as, without limitation, credit card, personal data, or banking information, etc. You shall be responsible for ensuring that your device’s anti-virus and firewall software are up-to-date and adequate and IAE shall not be responsible for your failure to do so.

Use of the Wireless Guest Internet Services is at your own risk. IAE assumes no responsibility and shall not be liable for any loss of data, damage, costs or expenses, suffered or incurred by you as a result of or in connection with your access to use of or inability to use the Wireless Guest Internet Services (including, without limitation, any loss of data, damage, costs or expenses suffered or incurred by you due to viruses/malware that may infect your device as a result of your use of the Wireless Guest Internet Services). Further, IAE assumes no responsibility or liability for physical damage to or theft of your device.

In using the Wireless Guest Internet Services you agree not to act in any way that could be unlawful or encourage others to act unlawfully. Further, you agree:

(a) to respect all copyright laws and licensing agreements pertaining to material obtained from the Internet via the use of the Wireless Guest Internet Services and IAE shall not responsible for your failure to do so;

(b) not to use the Wireless Guest Internet Services to undertake actions that are harassing, defamatory, threatening, obscene, abusive, racist, sexist, offensive or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate;

(c) not to use the Wireless Guest Internet Services to collect personal details or to send spam;

(d) not to use the Wireless Guest Internet Services in any way that may materially affect the running of IAE’s network or other technology connected to it; and

(e) not to use the Wireless Guest Internet Services to access networks that do not belong to you or that you would otherwise not be entitled to access.

IAE does not guarantee that your hardware or software will work with the Wireless Guest Internet Services. If you have problems accessing the Internet over the Wireless Guest Internet Services connection, IAE’s staff cannot assist in making changes to your network settings or perform any troubleshooting on your device. You should refer to the owners’ manual for your device or other support services, offered by your device manufacturer.

You hereby acknowledge and agree that IAE are entitled to co-operate with law enforcement authorities and rights-holders in the investigation of any suspected or alleged unlawful activity by you which may include, but is not limited to, disclosure of such information as we have about you in relation to your usage of the Wireless Guest Internet Services and are entitled to provide by law, to law enforcement authorities or rights-holders.

IAE takes the security of personal data seriously and complies with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998. Information which you may submit in order to gain access to Wireless Guest Internet Services will be kept secure and will only be processed for the purposes of this service.

Users of the Wireless Guest Internet Services use the service at their own risk. IAE  shall not be liable for any damages arising from use of the Service, including but not limited to: loss of privacy or security damages; personal injury or property damages; Any damages whatsoever resulting from interruption or failure of service; loss of data; loss due to unauthorized access due to viruses or other harmful components; the interception of loss of any data or transmission; Losses resulting from any goods or services purchased or messages or data received or transaction entered into through the Service.
